Hello all,

My name is Joshua Sepcoski, and I’m more than humbled to serve again as the Noreastern Pennsylvania Council VOA President for the 2017-2018 term. I was the NEPA Council Vice President of Membership for my council in the 2014-2015 term and NER Area 5 Venturing President for the 2015 - 2016 term.

A letter from the President Select
"I need YOU to be the next VP"
I will try to fulfil the duties and obligations of the position of Northeaster Pennsylvania Council Venturing President to the best of my abilities.  I will strive to be a good servant leader. With diverse and capable vice presidents from around our council, we will form a team that will make the 2017-2018 term the best ever.

Dear Scouts,

I hope everyone has had an amazing beginning two months to the year.  The VOA has been working hard to come up with something exciting for you to enjoy. As you will see in later in this newsletter, we are going back to the NEPA VOA roots and running a spring event for the first time in 5 years.

We have created a concoction of old and new formulas to ensure that you will have the time of your lives at this event.  The Spring Fling is guaranteed to be a blast! Themed Missions Impossible, you will emerge into the world of covert operations. You will sneak past guards, speak in code, learn the secrets of enemy embattlements, and have all the makings of a covert operative by the end of the Spring Fling.

Hope to see you there!

Yours in Scouting,

Joshua Sepcoski

Dear Venturers,

I hope everyone has had a fantastic end to the year.
It has been an honor to have served you for the past six months. I cannot wait to see what next year will have to bring for the Venturing program.

NEPA Venturing Officers’ Association has chosen to give our full attention and effort to increasing membership within our council, in addition to supporting you, and hosting our programs.

I would like to thank Mike Kiddish, Megan Schuster, and Mr. Ken Morgan in addition to all the Officers and advisors, for without them, 2016 would not have been a success.  Mike Kiddish and Megan both help at every single program event we run, and are always there to support us. Mr. Ken Morgan is always there to lend a hand, and has recently been selected as the new Associate Advisor for Communication.

Thank you not only for your continued support in all our endeavors, but for the opportunity to serve you.

I wish you a happy new year full of success and joy.

Yours in Scouting,

Joshua Sepcoski
